NAS – For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,
NA26 – Τῷ γὰρ Ἀβραὰμ ἐπαγγειλάμενος (5666) ὁ θεός, ἐπεὶ κατ οὐδενὸς εἶχεν (5707) μείζονος ὀμόσαι, (5658) ὤμοσεν (5656) καθ ἑαυτοῦ,
WH – τω γαρ αβρααμ επαγγειλαμενος (5666) ο θεος επει κατ ουδενος ειχεν (5707) μειζονος ομοσαι (5658) ωμοσεν (5656) καθ εαυτου

NAS – For men swear by one greater {than themselves,} and with them an oath {given} as confirmation is an end of every dispute.
NA26 – ἄνθρωποι γὰρ κατὰ τοῦ μείζονος ὀμνύουσιν, (5719) καὶ πάσης αὐτοῖς ἀντιλογίας πέρας εἰς βεβαίωσιν ὁ ὅρκος·
WH – ανθρωποι γαρ κατα του μειζονος ομνυουσιν (5719) και πασης αυτοις αντιλογιας περας εις βεβαιωσιν ο ορκος
